Employee Appreciation
Managed to finish off the year with a fun project that ran parallel with my other art making activities. The Marketing Director of local area company Rex Electric contacted me for what could be an ongoing project for next year. Employee of the Month gift caricatures.
The smallish scale forces me to simplify my style a bit which is nice since I tend to let myself get caught up in minutia like feathering my lines or letting painterly-ness creep into my coloring efforts.
Future EOTMs or Bust-Ups as I and the MD like to call them will have enhanced banners. Can't wait.

The Man in Charge
Its been a long time but I thought it wise to put some rare free time to good use before the powers that be give my unused bandwidth space to someone else.
As promised here is the client portrait I briefly spoke of last year. Its rare that I'm pleased with my rendered efforts but despite working on it off and on for a couple of months between projects I think it falls in the "not too shabby" category. Its not often that I get to put my naturalistic rendering skills to the test.
More work to come soon I promise.
